Anti-trans hate group Women’s Human Rights Campaign wants to eliminate trans people

In a submission to a Parliamentary Select Committee, anti-trans group Women’s Human Rights Campaign reveal the extent of their hate towards trans people: they want them eradicated from the world.

In a masks- and gloves-off moment, anti-trans group Women’s Human Rights Campaign (WHRC) lobbied members of the UK Parliament for the ‘elimination’ of ‘transgenderism’.

Ignoring the UN’s support for trans people, WHRC co-optied its Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women and declared, ‘We consider that the practice of transgenderism clearly falls under’ Article 5, which calls for the ‘elimination of prejudices and customary and all other practices which are based on the idea of the inferiority or the superiority of either of the sexes or on stereotyped roles for men and women’. In short, WHRC wants “transgenderism” to be eliminated. This would mean the suppression, forced “conversion” — and even death — of transgender people. It is terrifying.

This is an old transphobic mission, of course. In the “TERF Bible”, The Transsexual Empire (1979), Janice Raymond also calls for the ‘elimination of transsexualism’, writing that ‘the problem of transsexualism would best be served by morally mandating it out of existence’ (p. 178). As Natalie Wynn outlines, Raymond proposed this is done in part by limiting trans people’s access to healthcare and, instead, putting them through some form of conversion therapy (pp. 178, 180–183). This would put trans people into a living hell and would inevitably lead to trans people’s deaths — either by suicide or — if a group of people have been classified as “immoral” — murder (and it’s not as if trans people aren’t already murdered by transphobes).

Time and again transphobic people say their rights are being threatened by trans people, that they are being “cancelled for expressing an opinion”, that trans people are a danger to them when, in reality, it’s transphobes — Gender Critical and TERFs — who are the threat, actively lobbying policymakers for the elimination of other members of society. Transphobes are dangerous.
